Our History

Hostal de la Luz was born 14 years ago as the initiative of a group of doctors and therapists who saw the need to create a unique space in which human beings have access to that which Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, created in Aisklipion on the island of Kos in Greece

A place where the landscape, the ideal conditions of the subsoil, rich in ferrite and high vibration, will be pooled to sacred architecture, so that those who visit it could get physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wealth.

Knowledge of modern science, combined with the ancient ancestral wisdom, conjugated to create it.

The result is a space of light where humans can access the highest levels of health and consciousness and achieve wellness to reach the great goal for which we were created: to recognize and achieve our essence as a human species evolving, since yearned for so many centuries.

Many were the difficulties to achieve this, since its construction and supply essential services, but thanks to the will of their creators and the wonderful participation of the inhabitants of Magic Amatlán, today is a reality.

A harmonious space where those who helped building it, today are part of the staff caring for our visitors. The positive attitude of workers and the wisdom of their ancestors can guarantee that those who visit us will not only smile, but that may receive such incredible wisdom of our ancestors.

Respectful of the environment, ecology, and above all the human being, Hostal de la Luz was appointed as World Peace Location by His Holiness the Dalai Lama during his visit to Mexico in 2006.

Today we can say that Hostal de la Luz, more than a hotel, is a destination for the reunion with your true essence.
